Blind Corners was originally formed back in 1991 by guitarist Mark baldwin. The first line up included Mark's songwriting partner and singer, Sarah Millyard and was completed with a rhythm section consisting of Mike Jeynes on drums and his Brother Rob on Bass guitar. The band however broke up after a couple of gigs when both Mike and Rob rejoined their old band The Badgers who went to to much local success.
Mark then joined an indie rock group called The State with Sarah in late 1991 and stayed with them untill early 1993 when he left due to musical differences and a clash of personalities. The success of the band gave Mark the enthusiasm to carry on writing songs untill he met guitarrist Doug Mackie and formed the group, Playing For Time. This group gigged for 3 years but came to an end when Doug and bassist Paul Channel quit to persue a different direction.
After a couple of years away from music, Mark was invited to join the band that was eventually to become Stone Runner. During periods of inactivity with Stone Runner, mark hooked up with Shane Randall and his son Lee to reform Blind Corners in 2000 as a recording band, and it's this line up that has produced 3 cd's.
